摘要
由文献[1]所给Er ̄(3+)掺杂光纤的孤子传输放大方程,对分布放大情况,给出透明传输时的最佳泵浦功率。将其与实验结果比较,证明理论与实验符合很好。对考虑激发态吸收时的最佳泵浦的研究指出,激发态吸收将严重消耗泵浦功率,提高基态量子转移效率可减小激发态吸收的影响。
rom the amplification equation of solitons propagating in Er ̄(3+)-doped opticalfibers given in reference [1] ,this paper gives the optimal pumping power for thetransparent transmission in the case of distributed amplification.It is shown thatthe theory is in good agreement with experimental results given previously.The in-vestigation on the optimal pumping in which excited-state absoption is consideredindicates that the excited-state absoption seriously damp the pump power,but increa-sing the quantum transition efficieacy of ground-state,can weaken the influence ofthe excited-state absoption.
