摘要
本文报导了利用紫露草染色体微核技术,监测海水污染的初步实验结果。我们发现紫露草能于海水中在实验要求的时间内成活,并通过实验证实了微核产生的原因不是海水本身,而是海水中的污染物质,污染物质含量越高,产生微核的频率也越高。因此,可用它来监测海水的污染,同时,对青岛食用自来水的质量也作了测定,就诱变物质来讲,目前青岛自来水的清洁度是好的。
Tradescantia micronucleus ( MCN ) technique devised by prof.T. H. Ma has been effectively used in detecting the pllutants in the air and fresh water. The present writers have applied this technique in monitoring marine pollution and thus obtained some encouraging results. The success was mainly due to the dilution of sea water to certain extent ( 25-50% ) so that the Tradescantia inflorescences could remain alive during the time pe-riod required in the experiment. 100% sea water could be used too with less satisfactory result.The present study revealed that some parts of the sea water in Chiaoch-ow Bay were heavily polluted. The standard sea water itself could not induce micronucleus.The tap water in Qingdao was tested and its quality was seen to be quite good for no significant amount of mutagens was detected.
