1974—1985年在烟台市、荣成和长岛县进行了自然海区采苗的试验研究。研究结果表明,采苗袋(笼)是较好的扇贝自然海区采苗器。 自然海区采苗技术的关键是:采苗袋网目在1.5毫米左右,内放少量网片作为稚贝附着基;海区透明度大;适时预报投放采苗器时间;掌握适宜的采苗水层。 该项技术经济效益显著。
In order to solve inexpensively the technical problems involved in the mass production of farrer's scallop spats, we carried out our experiments on the techniques of spat collect-ion in the sea area of Yantai, Rongcheng and Changdao County in 1974-1979. The results have been adopted in the production of scallop mariculture on a large scale from 1980 up to the present.Our principal processes in technique are: 1) according to the ecological behavior of scallop larvae, designing an effective spat collector, i.e., the spat collecting bag or cage, made of polyvinyle chloride thread with mesh size about 1.2-1.5 mm, and inclosing a proper quantity of polyethylene meshes as substrate for the settling of larvae; 2) selecting an appropriate sea area as spat-collecting grounds, the required conditions being of considerable aboundance of scallop, clear sea water, good transparency (about 4-7 meters), high salinity (about 32 ‰) as well as less stormy waves; 3) investigating and determining accurately the spawning season and the spatfall period of scallop; 4) setting spat-collectors in time at advantageous depths (2-8 meters from the surface) of the selected sea area.The beneficial result of economy of our techniques is quite remarkable.
