摘要
甲壳质(Chitin)是生物界广泛存在的一种天然高分子化合物，属多糖类衍生物，有如下的结构：
Ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) was used for the first time as initiator for grafting polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA)on chitin film. The grafted polymers were obtained in methanol aqueous solution at room temperature with highest yield at 0.5 mol. L-1 MMA and 5×10-3 mol.L-1 CAM. It is not necessary to maintain the reaction under N2 all through the whole process.The method is simple and can be easily carried out. The grafted film has a pood appearnace. Comparsion of the films before and after grafting polymerization was done with infrared spectrogram and electron micrograph.
