摘要 中国沿海地区经常受西太平洋台风的侵害。人员与财富的大量损失是由强台风所引起的海面异常升高所造成的。 A numerical hydrodynamical model is described for the simulation of typhoon surges in the East China Sea. The model applies to a region including the river Changjiang and Shanghai and allows account to be taken of the fresh water discharge through the system. A simulation is performed using data applying to typhoon 8114(Agnes)which led to an exceptionally high surface elevation at Wusong on 1 September 1981. Good agreement is obtained between the computed results and observations reported by the Shanghai Meteorological Office.
