摘要
随着世界人口的增长和工农业的发展，淡水的需要量日渐增加。单靠降水已远不能满足人们的要求。而且，在海岛、舰艇和海洋平台上无法利用雨水。因此，现在许多国家都很重视淡化海水的问题。在某些地区淡化海水已经成为人们用水的重要组成部分。目前，包括美、日在内已有几十个国家，安装了大规模的海水淡化设备。
Ocean thermal energy can be used for desalination. This paper presents the method of utilizing chemical heat pump for overcoming the low temperature difference for desalination.An example of termodynamics compute of heat pump introduced in the paper is given. In this example, we used the actual data from reference papers. We would like to say, this method is one of the useful methods of desalination.
