Research and Realization on Remote Management of ADSL CPE

ADSL终端远程管理是建立宽带综合运营支撑系统的一种关键技术,也是宽带业务发展中讨论的热点问题。本文从国内宽带运营商对ADSL综合运维的实际需求出发,分析了ADSL终端远程管理的国际标准和技术现状,提出了一种以SNMP为主的EOC和PVC双通道兼容的解决方案,并详细介绍了ADSL终端远程管理解决方案中的双通道、自动配置和校验、DSLAM转发ADSL终端管理报文等关键技术的实现方法。

The remote management of ADSL CPE is the key technology on how to build the broadband OSS. It is also the hot issue in the progress of developing broadband service. According to Chinese operator's requirement for general operating and maintenance of ADSL, this article analyzes the current status of international standard and technology about the remote management of ADSL CPE, a type of solution mainly adopting SNMP protocol is provided in which the EOC channel is compatible with the PVC channel, some critical implementing methods are introduced in detail such as dual channel, auto configuration and verification, forwarding administrative messages in DSLAM, and so on.
