文化环境中价值观的思考及其对外语教学的启示——从“扑克牌通缉令”谈起

摘要 本文通过对美国军方在伊拉克战争所发布的“扑克牌通缉令”背后所隐藏的文化信息及美国人类学家Kluckhohn, F. R.和Fred L. Strodtbck.所提出的具有人类文化共性的五种价值取向,信仰和行为模式的分析,来研究和探讨文化环境中价值取向对人们文化行为和思维的影响和决定作用。并结合语言教学中语言文化环境的培养和创造对学生语言习得及其价值观形成影响的分析,帮助语言教师和学生在语言学习中培养对文化环境中价值观的敏感意识并保持独立自主的价值判断和价值选择能力。 To begin with the analysis of the wanted playing cards circular in Iraq war, this paper tries to explore the profound significance in the influence and determination of basic values to human behavior in different cultural contexts from five value orientations, which was put forward by American anthropologists Kluckhohn, F. R. and Fred L. Strodtbck. We also discuss the applicability of teaching how to shape the cultural context which helps the language acquisition and the formation of value orientation in foreign language teaching. This study is intended to help language teachers and students to be sensitive to the cultural values, and do justice to the judgment and choice on value orientations.
