In this paper, the author discusses about the calculation method of transverse list and longitudinal sliding motion of heavy cargos in transportation. With a numerical example, the calculating procedure is explained of the transverse, longitudinal and vertical forces, as well as the judgment of the transverse tumbling and longitudinal sliding motion.
