With reference to the construction of the 138 m high-rise pier of double thin walls and hollow section of Huluhe River Bridge, this paper elaborates the construction technology for piers of double thin walls and hollow sections higher than 100 m with turnover formwork. The technology used with the turnover formwork not only ensures high quality and rapid speed of the construction, but also features safety and easy operation, and consequently can yield good economic benefits.
