摘要
Government officials relinquishing their jobs for business is always a sensitive topic among officialdom, with the tradition of regarding official as a lifelong career. However, the reform since 1978 not only brought about sea changes to China’s economy, but also exerted a subtle influence on China’s officialdom. In this issue, we focus on the former officials who plunged into the commercial sea, and try to tell the attitude towards of the officialdom towards their action, and the mobility of elites in Chinese society, by examining their personal experiences.
