Based on the comparison of the characteristics of single-chip microcomputer and DSP, this paper introduces the characteristics of dsPIC and analyzes the function of its conjunction and the situation of its application. Then this paper cites some examples of applying dsPIC digital signal processor in electrical machine control and car electron.
