摘要 回顾了元认知的起源及内涵.分析了阅读中的元认知,即阅读理解包含了很多涉及元认知的技能和活动,具体分为阅读中的元认知知识和元认知控制.陈述了元认知训练和元认知在外语阅读教学中的作用,即阅读元认知训练能够加强和提高学生阅读时的自我调控能力,使学生在阅读中能够自己设定阅读目标,提出问题,进行预测和假设的验证,从而得出结论并确定下一个阅读目标,提高学生的元认知意识是提高学生外语阅读的有效途径. This article firstly gives a brief review on the origin and the connotation of metacognition. Then the article analyzes metacognition in reading for reading involves the various skills and activities of metacognition. There are two aspects of metacognition in foreign language reading — metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation. Lastly, the article gives an introduction about metacognition training and the role of metacognition in foreign language reading teaching.The metacognition training in reading can enhance students'self-regulated ability and it enables students to set up reading goals, to raise questions, to make prediction and testify the hypotheses so that the following reading goals can be made. Therefore, improving students'metacognitive awareness is an effective way to improve their foreign language reading performance.
