The paper discusses the successful experience Sweden has got in the development of house buildings and waterproof technologies, focusing on the design principle, material development and quality management of the overall function covering the water-proof, sealing, drainage, wet resistance, and thermal insulation for roofs, walls, basement, kitchens and bathrooms. It also puts forward some suggestions on the development of buildings and waterproof technologies in China.
