The Theory of “Three Represents” and the Theoretical Innovation Of Chinese Modernization

中国社会现代化所走过的历程是在特定的、具体的历史条件下寻求现代化的途径的过程。其中依次包括:在传统的封建社会内部寻找改良主义现代化道路的阶段;在否定封建制度的基础上试图走资本主义现代化道路的阶段;在资本主义道路走不通的情况下寻求社会主义现代化道路的阶段。与此相应,形成了资本主义、新民主主义、社会主义的现代化的理论创新。“三个代表”学说是在新的实践的基础上创造的新的现代化理论成果,它对中国现代化理论的重大发展。

This article maintains that the course of Chinese modernization includes three periods:first,in search of reformism modernization in the feudalism society;second,trying to take the steps of capitalism modernization on the base of denying feudality;third,searching after socialism modernization after the second period.There are three kinds of theoretical innovation including capitalism modernization, new democracy modernization, socialism modernization in the course of Chinese modernization. As one of the most significant accomplishments of theore-tical innovation in the course of Chinese modernization,the theory of “Three Represents” will bring about new hope of Chinese development in the new century.
