The case study on the mode of governance for university-industry collaboration in Hongkong

大学—工业合作管理模式可以从外部管理模式和大学的内部管理模式两个维度来考察。香港作为世界新兴的工业经济区和重要的国际贸易港,其经济的高度发展是与其高度重视高等教育的发展以及大学和工业界的合作分不开的。在大学与工业界合作方面,香港已建立起良好的组织架构和运行机制。以香港科技大学为代表的案例研究为大学—工业合作管理提供了可资借鉴的经验。

The governance mode can be studied in two ways: one is the internal form, the other is the external form. Hongkong is a new industrial economy center and an international trade port in the world. In some way, this attributes to the development of higher education and the close relationship between universities and industries. There has been built the good organization and operating system in Hongkong. The external governance mode of HK and the internal governance mode of HKUST will give us available experience in the course of the industry-university collaboration.
