从国际政治环境、国际经济条件、特有历史与地理条件等几个角度,分析了东亚跨越式现代化发展的外部因素。从东亚"四小"的国内政策、经济发展策略、教育投资与国民精神培养等角度,阐述了其现代化发展的内部条件。认为东亚现代化迅速发展得益于东亚国家与地区对其内外多种发展因素的综合利用,使其现代化发展具有更多动力。

Many influencing factors jointly resulted in the rapid development of modernization in Eastern Asia, including such external circumstances as the internationally political conditions, opportunities for developing international trades and the specific historic and geographic features. Discusses the roles of domestic economic policies, economically developmental strategies and huge investments in education and fostering national spirits in the so-called four newly-emerging nations/regions in Eastern Asia. A conclusion is thus drawn that with both the international and domestic powerful incentives, the countries/regions in Eastern Asia have been modernized rapidly through utilizing comprehensively and flexibly their developing factors to win their economical growth.
