公安机关要充分认识境外追赃工作的重要性,树立强烈的追赃意识,加强研究国外法律制度和司法实践,进一步完善我国的反洗钱工作机制,采取直接请境外警方协助、刑事司法协助、引渡、由境外警方启动刑事诉讼程序、由被害人在境外提起民事诉讼及促使犯罪嫌疑人自行退赃等多种途径和方式,开展境外追赃工作。

Our public security organs should fully realize the importance of recovering illegally obtained money and articles beyond the boundary of China, reinforce the research on legal systems and judicial practice of other countries, further perfect the working mechanism of anti- money laundering in our country, and recover illegally obtained money and articles beyond the boundary of China through various channels: directly seeking for other countries' policing assistance, assistance of criminal justice, extradition, starting criminal lawsuit procedure by the police of other countries, the injured person's civil lawsuit beyond our boundary and making suspected person give up illegally obtained money and articles voluntarily, etc.
