Abstract n applied hierarchicalcompromise model for Multiple Criteria Group Decision Making is suggested in this thesis. According to the analysis of the tridimensional structureof the MCGDM problem, it introduces a method and some new concepts about combining“the voting process”with“the counting process”synthetically in order to solve an MCGDM prob-lem, and moreover, a special remark upon the Cook and Seiford distance function and two de-velopments for it are offered. Finally, the thesis cites a calculated example.
