摘要
目的探讨FLAIR序列MR图像上人脑皮质不同区域是否具有不同的信号强度。材料和方法回顾性分析30例健康志愿者的冠状面FLAIR序列图像,分别测量双侧杏仁核、海马、扣带回、胼下区、岛叶、额叶、顶叶、枕叶和颞叶皮质的信号强度。并以额叶皮质的信号为标准,分别比较不同皮质区的信号强度的差异,共分五级。结果杏仁核的信号最高,其次为胼下区、海马、扣带回,均高于额叶皮质的信号,其与额叶的信号差异分别具有统计学意义(P<0.001)。岛叶的信号略高于额叶,但统计学检验无明显差异(P>0.05)。双侧颞叶、顶叶和枕叶皮质的信号等同或略低于额叶皮质,统计学上均无明显差异(P>0.05)。各皮质区双侧信号强度的差异也均无明显统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论正常人脑边缘叶在FLAIR序列MR图像上经常表现为高信号,必须正确评价。
Purpose:To determine whether brain cortices have different signal intensities on FLAIR imˉages.Materials and Methods:Coronal FLAIR images of30healthy volunteers were evaluated retroˉspectively.Signal intensities of the amygdala,hippocampus,cingulate gyrus,subcallosal area,insula,frontal lobe,temporal lobe,parietal lobe,and occipital lobe were measured.The signal intensities of different cortices were categorized into five grades using the signal intensity of the frontal lobe as the reference.Results:The highest signal intensities on FLAIR images were often seen in amygdala,then in subcallosal area,hippocampus,cingulated gyrus.Their signal intensities were all higher than that of frontal cortex.And the differences between them were significant in statistics respectively(P<0.001).The signal intensity of the insula was slightly higher than that of frontal cortex,but no significant difference was found in statistics(P>0.05).The signal intensities of the temporal lobe,parietal lobe and occipital lobe were similar to or slightly lower than that of frontal lobe.No significant differences were found in statistics respectively(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in statistics with respect to latˉerality(P>0.05).Conclusion:On FLAIR images,high signal intensities of cortices of the limbic lobe are frequently seen in neurologically normal brain.These findings should be evaluated correctly.
