By analyzing and probing into the causes of a hard disk boot failure, the breakdown was fixed at last. The author put forward a kind of thinking method about maintenance of computer, from where lead to the analysis of Master Boot Record, and find the FDISK program's hidden parameter MBR and its ingenious use. The author also gave some fixed technology of Master Boot Record.
