一个实验建筑师的回归——坂茂及其作品解读

On the Holistic Development of Shigeru Ban and the Analysis of His Experimental Works

坂茂是目前深受关注的日本建筑师之一,他的设计带有明显的实验性建筑倾向。文章对坂茂及其作品进行了合乎当代文化语境的解读,认为极少主义风格、西方中产阶级审美情趣和价值观是构成其设计思想的重要精神谱系。在此基础上,本文对日本实验建筑师的整体走向进行判断,并以此对我国实验性建筑的发展提供必要的借鉴与警示。

Shigeru Ban is an well-known modern architect in Japan. His design involves in the polarity of experimental architecture. With the anatomy of his works in the contem-porary cultural context, the paper deems that the Minimalism, the aesthetic taste and axiology of the middle class in west is the pursue of his projects. Then, the artical gives a holistic judgement on Japanese experimental architecture and some inspiration for the development of experimental architecture in China.
