An initial observation of the early-stage growth of the large tree frogs(Rhacophorus dennysi Blanford)

常温条件下,大树蛙早期发育从受精卵到蝌蚪孵化需6d左右,卵群形态、孵化方式等与大多数无尾两栖类有别;胚胎发育、变态发育与其它无尾两栖类相似;在实验室人工饲养下,蝌蚪在孵化后的第29d长出后肢,第36d长出前肢,第43d完成变态发育.

In the early stage, it takes about 6 days for the large tree frogs (Rhacophorus dennysi Blanford) to grow from cosperms to tadpoles. The shape of the spawn cluster and the incubation manner are different from most of the batrachians, while the embryo growth and metamorphism are similar to the others. In the lab breeding, the hind legs of the tadpoles appear on the 29th day; the front legs appear on the 36th day and the metamorphism completes on the 43rd day.
