Export Processing Zone (EPZ) is a important part in the regional economic growth in developing countries and regions. Bangladesh is no exception, who set up EPZ in the early 80s in the 20th century and it works well. The paper outlines the backgrounds and aims, building, management and major policies of EPZ in Bangladesh, and gives a summary of the enlightenment and lessons which can be drawn from the EPZ.
