The Main Features and Development of Country Middle Schools P.E.in Guangdong Province

对广东山区农村中学体育的主要特征与改革发展进行了研究探讨。研究发现:由于山区农村经济落后,严重制约了中学教育与体育的发展;普遍存在"重智轻体"的现象;体育场地、器材和设施严重不足;体育教师结构不合理,工作负荷大。提出必须抓住机遇,深化改革,造就一支适应山区农村中学体育教育的高素质的专业教师队伍,加快山区农村中学的体育发展。

This paper studies the main features and development of country middle school P.E. in Guangdong province by literature and investigation. It comes out with the following results: the middle school P.E. is seriously restricted because of the underdevelopment of economy; it's a common practice that physical education is largely overlooked; there is a serious lack of facilities and equipment; the P.E. faulty is overloaded and not well structured. Therefore, challenges must be met and innovations are needed in order to enhance the general competence of the P.E. faculty and promote P.E.development in country middle schools in Guangdong province.
