The expression of CD_(44v6) and E-cadherin in relation to the metastasis and prognosis in patients of gastric carcinoma

摘要 目的探讨胃癌中CD44V6和E蛳cadherin(E蛳cad)蛋白表达的意义。方法应用免疫组化Envision法检测80例胃癌中CD44V6和E蛳cad蛋白的表达,并分析其与临床病理参数的关系。结果80例胃癌中,CD44V6蛋白阳性率77.5 %,显著高于正常胃黏膜组织的阳性率(P <0.001);E蛳cad蛋白在胃癌中阳性率为46.3 %,显著低于正常胃黏膜组织的阳性率(P <0.001);CD44v6高表达和E蛳cad低表达与胃癌TNM分期、浆膜浸润、淋巴结转移呈显著正相关(P <0.05),而与年龄和组织学类型无关;CD44v6和E蛳cad表达呈负相关(P <0.001)。结论CD44v6阳性和E蛳cad阴性表达与胃癌浸润转移密切相关,CD44v6阳性和E蛳cad阴性者更具有侵袭性和转移性。联合检测CD44v6和E蛳cad有助于判断胃癌的预后。 Objective To investigate the significance of CD44v6 and E?- cadherin protein expression in gastric adenocarcinoma. Methods The expression of CD44v6 and E?- cadherin protein was examined with immunohistochemical Envision method. Results The total positive rates of CD44v6 and E?- cadherin protein staining in 80 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma were 77.5 %(62/80) and 46.3 %(37/80) respectively. They were not significantly correlated with patient's age or histological type (P >0.05). The high level of CD44v6 expression and the low level of E?- cad expression were positively correlated with the TNM stage, serosa in infiltration, lymph node metastasis of gastric adenocarcinoma(P <0.05). The expression of CD44v6 was negatively correlated with that of E?- cad(P <0.001). Conclusions The expression of CD44v6 and E?- cadherin protein was correlated with the potential of invasion and metastasis in gastric adenocarcinoma. The combined detection of CD44v6 and E?- cadherin protein may be valuable in predicting the prognosis of gastric adenocarcinoma.
