１９９３年化工系统完成总产值１７９６．３亿元，比上年增长７．３％。全年完成固定资产投资２３０多亿元，比上年增长１９％。全年进出口总额达１８７亿美元，比上年增长１６．１％。但化学工业发展速度低于全国工业的增长速度。
The gross output value of chinese chemical industry in 1993 was 179. 63 billion yuan, increasing 7.3%over the previous year.The year also saw an investment of fixed assets of over 23. 0 billion yuan,19% higher than the previous year. The total volume of chemical exports and imports in the year amounted to US18. 7 billion, registering a rise of 16.1%. However,the growth of development of chemical industry was slower than that of national industries on the average.
