竹类拥有其自身的很多优点,是值得向2008年奥运会推广的重要植物种类。介绍了竹类的概况和主要特征,并对北京地区引种栽培初见成效的竹类进行了详细的说明。
Bamboo has many merits and is worth to be generalized for 2008 Olympic. The paper introduces the general situation and main characters of bamboo, and explains in detail some species that can be planted in Beijing successfully.
