摘要
余甘粉系用大戟科植物滇橄榄的果实加工精制而成,拟用于生产保健食品和饮料。按《食品安全性毒理学评价程序》要求,进行了余甘粉的急性毒性和致突变性实验研究。结果表明,余甘粉对昆明种小鼠的急性经口LD50>10g/kg体重,属实际无毒类物质。Ames试验、小鼠微核试验和精子畸形试验结果均为阴性,表明在本实验条件下余甘粉无致突变活性,可进入第三阶段亚慢性毒性实验研究。
Yugan powder was refined from the fruit of Phyllanthus emblica L. Since this fruit has been shown to reduce the synthesis of nitrosamines in vivo and in vitro recently,yugan powder may be useful in processing health foods and beverages. In order to ascertain its safety,an acute toxicity test and three mutagenicity test,i. e. the Ames test,the mouse micronucleus test and the sperm abnormality test were conducted. The results showed that the LD50 of yugan powder was more than 10g/kg body weight,and that it was not found to be mutagenic in any of the three test systems,indicating it was a material with very low toxicity. In accordance with the food safety evaluation procedures,subchronic toxicity tests should still be conducted.
