摘要
西方政治学理论对于公务员的从政动机有过不同的解释 ,其中较有影响力的是公共选择理论的“经济人”范式。但西方学术界也在反思该范式 ,对一些问题提出了新的看法。比如 :人们为什么要从政 ,从政动机与性格、素质的关系 ,公务员从政动机对公共利益的影响等。
Western political theories have given different explanations to western public servants' motives for engaging in political affairs, among which the pattern of 'Homo Economicus' in public choice theory is influential. However, some scholars raise questions for such pattern and advanced new theories in the following respects: the reasons of people's desiring for government jobs, the relationship between a person's personality and his motives, and the effects of those motives on common benefit.
