语类研究概览

A General Survey of Genre Studies

本文力图对语类研究进行比较全面的总结和介绍。首先,本文简略介绍了语类研究从古希腊时期到20世纪初的发展史;第二,讨论了当代语言学和有关学科对语类的研究现状;第三,讨论了语类的七个特性,即层次性、混合性、中心-边沿性、动态-静态性、共时-历时性、主次性、开放-封闭性。最后,提出了下一步语类研究应该集中研究的几个方面。

The present paper is intended to introduce and summarize in a comprehensive manner the studies on genre. First, it briefly introduces the history of the development of genre from Ancient Greece to the beginning of the 20th century; Secondly, it discusses the present status of the studies on genre by scholars of various subjects in contemporary linguistics and other related fields; Thirdly, it discusses the seven features of genre: hierarchy, mixedness, central-peripheral cline, dynamic-static cline, diachronic-synchronic distinction, primary-secondary distinction and open-closed cline, and finally, it proposes several aspects of genre studies that future genre researchers should focus on.
