摘要
本文分两部分。第一部分谈作者个人学习外语的经历和体会,第二部分提出了对外语教学的一些看法。作者认为学习母语时,口语是第一性的,在非目的语地区学习该外语时,书面语是第一性的。学习目的应该明确。开发语言能力是外语教学的根本。口语和书面语的表达是语言行为。口语中听比说难,书面语中写比读难。书面语转化为口语比口语转化为书面语容易。学习外语的临界期还有待研究。
The paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, the author states his own personal experience in foreign language study. In the second part, he presents his view on the foreign language study, in which the linguistic competence and performance, the mother tongue and foreign language, the written language and spoken language etc. are discussed.
