Taking into consideration history and overall development as a whole, comrade Jiang Zemin is a true strategist with a vision of the world. With penetrating insight into the developing trend of the world, he is quick to perceive new changes. He has a true understanding to economic globalization, political multi-polarization, the interdependence of different countries in the world and the theme of the time, i. e. peace and development. Besides, he shows great concern for the tide of the time, rejects the way of thinking during the Cold War, and advocates that different civilizations coexist despite their differences to seek for common development. His vision of the world is of deep insight and rich content with a strong sense of opportunity. His ideas of innovation and keeping pace with the times show his deep understanding to the Marxist Theories and the traditional Chinese culture.
