The Promotion of Literators' Reclusion to Their Literature Creation and its Effects on the Themes

唐代文士多有隐逸的经历,这一经历对他们的创作产生深远的影响。隐逸使他们有更悠闲的生活,也有更充裕的时间去观察大自然与人世,常能触动心思与灵感,促进他们的创作欲,从而促进他们更多地赋诗作文。另一方面,隐逸生活也影响到创作的题材,如更多地表现隐逸情趣和山水田园的主题。

In Tang Dynasty, many literators had the experiences of reclusion, and this special experience had profound effects on their literature creations. Reclusion made them at leisure, giving them more time to enjoy the nature and think about the human life. Their minds and inspirations would be touched often. Thus their creation desires were promoted, making them create more poems and articles. On the other hand, reclusion had some effects on literature themes, for example, the themes which reflected the reclusion interests and the sceneries of the villages they settled down.
