摘要
在美国就英语地位问题的政治之争长期影响着美国的双语教育政策。可以说文化的融入与同化、追求统一语言是导致美国双语教育政策变化的主要原因。由此可以看出语言是一个政治问题 ,同时也表明语言是如何被看作一种权力的。
The debates about the position of English in the United States have brought great influence on American bilingual educational policy. Seeking the unitary of the culture and language has led the change of bilingual educational policy in the United States which indicates how language can be seen as a problem and as a right in the political society.
