摘要
提出了由一个扭曲相列液晶和两个单轴补偿膜构成的宽带偏振光开关,采用共轭梯度法对该器件参数进行优化设计.模拟结果表明此偏振光开关在整个可见光400~700 nm范围内,具有高对比度的特征,响应时间达到通常液晶显示器的水平.
A broadband polarization switch consisting of an active twisted nematic liquid crystal cell and two passive uniaxial compensation films is proposed. The conjugate gradient method was used for optimizing the device parameters. Simulation results indicate that the polarization switch exhibits a broad bandwidth with 400~700 nm, high contrast ratio and fast response time with 20~30 ms.
