Innate Talents: Reality or Myth? (Ⅰ)

摘要    人们认为, 一些孩子具有获得某种高水平技巧的才能, 而另一些孩子却没有。这方面的证据包括与特定能力相关的生理条件, 自闭症学者(autisticsavants) 的某些罕见的能力, 以及幼儿身上似乎随意表现出的超常能力。然而, 也有一些相反的迹象表明, 高超技巧的早期征兆并不存在。通过对上述正反面论点和论据的分析, 可以认为早期经历、偏好、机会、习惯、训练和练习的差异是成功的真正决定因素。
