摘要
本文主要介绍了一种ＩＥＥＥ８０２．３透明网桥的软／硬件设计原理及实现方法。通过该网桥可将多个ＩＥＥＥ８０２．３局部网络（ＬＡＮ）互连起来。本网桥设计成既可当透明内桥使用，也可通过光缆或同轴电缆实现远程网桥连接功能。本网桥还配有较强的网络管理功能。
In this paper, a kind of transparent network bridge on IEEE802. 3 is proposed. The software and hardware design of the bridge are discussed and implemented in detail. Each bridge can connect maximum four LANs Oil IEEE802. 3 standard. The transmission medium between a pair of the bridges was designed to be fiber or cable, and the transmission rate is 10 Mbps. This kind of transparent bridge has also powerful network management function which canhelp stlpervisor monitoring LANs data transmission.
