摘要
天然气水合物是由水分子和甲烷、乙烷、二氧化碳等分子组成的具晶格骨架的格子状复合物 ,具有独特的物理化学特征及赋存条件 ,有望成为人类未来高效、清洁的替代能源。对天然气水合物的研究逐渐发展为集地质、地球物理、地球化学、地质工程、环境及气候等为一体的新兴学科 ,天然气水合物的资源勘查、开发和利用将会成为一个新兴的资源产业。
Gas hydrates are ice-like reticular compound minerals formed at the low temperatures and high pressures. It contains several kinds of gas molecules, such as methane, ethane and carbon dioxide etc., which glue themselves inside symmetrical cages of water molecules to form hydrate crystals. Methane hydrates are increasingly recognized as a potential future energy resource because of their unique physicochemical properties and other virtues, such as high mineral utility and low pollution. The study about gas hydrates is becoming a new subject including geology, physical geography, geological engineering, environmental geology, and climatology. The resources' exploration, the exploitation and utilization of gas hydrates will become a burgeoning resource industry.
