摘要
在这篇论文中 ,我们主要讨论了以太网和控制网的介质访问控制 (MAC)子层的网络工作机理 ,对采用带碰撞检测的载波侦听多点访问方式 (CSMA/CD)的以太网总线和采用令牌传送的控制网总线作了详尽的比较 ,并用仿真方式比较了它们的传输时间和数据编码效率。
In this paper, the mechanisms of medium access control (MAC) layer about Ethernet and ControlNet are discussed in detail. The Ethernet bus using carrier sense multiple access with collision detection(CSMA/CD) and ControlNet bus with token-passing are compared. Its transmission time and data coding efficiency are emulated in MATLAB. The emulated result shows the transmission time of Ethernet is more than ControlNet, but it almost is constant in little data capacity. To compare data capacity with data coding time about Ethernet and ControlNet shows the coding efficiency of Ethernet is lower than ControlNet in little data capacity but in big data capacity it is almost equal.
