史诗:文体意义与价值评判的互动——论胡良桂的“长篇小说史论三部曲”

“长篇小说史论三部曲”从长篇小说的创作实际出发,紧紧抓住和围绕史诗性立论,从总体上抓住了长篇小说思想艺术的本质特征。提出了许多关于史诗性长篇小说理论的命题。采用了“传统史诗”和“现代史诗”这两个概念,抛弃了史诗的外在形式,抓住了史诗的内在精神。将史诗由长篇小说的价值评判转换成了文体规范。不仅具有史论价值,而且对当前的长篇小说创作具有潜在的推动作用。但也应看到,史诗对长篇小说的评价,主要着眼于文学的认识价值,容易助长长篇小说大而全的创作风气,史诗评价也不应该是长篇小说的惟一追求。

They not only have historical works value but also potential impetuses to the present novel .At the same time we should know that epic's appraisal to novel, mainly focus on the understanding value of literature, easy to encourage heavy and whole atmosphere in novel's creating. Epic appraisal should not be the only pursuit of novel too.
