三趾心颅跳鼠（Salpingotus　Kozlovi）一新亚种

A NEW SUBSPECIES OF THREE-TOED PYGMYJERBOA (Salpingotus kozlovi)

本文报道了三趾心颅跳鼠一新亚种，命名为向氏亚种－ＳａｌｐｉｎｇｏｔｕｓＫｏｚｌｏｖｉｘｉａｎｇｉ，ｓｕｂｓｐｎｏｖ．ｎｏｖ，新亚种主要鉴别特征为头骨量度比较小，颅全长、后头宽和听泡长三项量度的值分别为２３．３９±０．２３、１５．３３±０．１５和９．９６±０．１０．

This paper deals with a new subspeclcs of three--toed pygmy jerboa (Salpingotus kozlovi) which collecte from Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. It may be described as follows:Salpingotus kozlovi xiangi, subsp. nov.Holotype: NO.of specimen 1376,No. of collecting 87026,♂,adult .collected by Jiang wit on October 20,1987,from Yutian County (alt.1400m),Xinjiang, China.Paratype: 13 adult♂♂1 adult I♀ collected from same place as holotype during October 20-21,1987.The type specimens are deposited at the Northwest Minority Nationalities College and Institute for Endemie Disease Control and Research,Xinjiang.The new subspecies is distinguished chieny by its skull measurements being smaller. The measurements of greatest length of skull,mastoid width and bullae length are 23. 39± 0. 23. 15. 33± 0. 15 and 9. 96 ±o. 10.Comparison of skull's C. D. between the S. k. xiangi and S. k. kozlovi is shown in the table 3. Three of them are greater than 1. 28.
