工农联盟是指工人阶级和农民群众在工人阶级政党的领导下,为实现一定的战略目标,在一定共同利益的基础上结成的政治联盟。工农联盟是一个动态的概念,随着无产阶级革命和建设事业的发展,其内容也在不断发展变化。新世纪新阶段,我们党和政府应在明确工农联盟在全面建设小康社会中的战略地位的基础上,在了解新阶段工农联盟新变化、新情况的基础上,进一步巩固好工农联盟,为全面建设小康社会服务。

The Worker-Peasant Alliance refers to the political alliance formed between workers and peasants under the leadership of worker’s party based on certain common benefits and for certain strategic goals. Worker-Peasant Alliance is a dynamic concept, and will constantly grow and change with the development of proletarian revolution and construction. In the new century, our Party and government should consolidate the Worker-Peasant Alliance on the basis of identifying its strategic position in the construction of an overall well-to-do society and its current status, so as to contribute to the construction of a well-to-do society.
