This paper puts forward two supporting schemes for he buttock of the comprehensive mechanized coal mining face on the lower slice, and through the field practice, sums up and compares their respective merits and demerits, and determines a buttock supporting scheme that is suitable to the comprehensive mechanized coal mining face on the lower slice.
