On the Relationship between Confucian Thought of Benevolence and Moral Spirit of Socialism

Benevolence is the kernel of Confucian ethical thought. With moral individualism as the bearing point , it initiated interpersonal ethics characterized by harmonious life , seeking for a harmonious public order . Benevolence is the commonest spirit of value about human beings and interpersonal relationship of Confucianism. The moral implication including such as interpersonal relationship and helping one another, accords with the moral spirit of socialism, serving for the people and collectivism. Also it can supply us the basis and guarantee to set up equally, helpfully and harmoniously interpersonal relationship, steady and good public order.
