A Brief Discussion of Law and Ritualism Thoughts in Song Dynasty

宋王朝在建立之时,整个社会已完全陷入严重的伦理道德危机和信仰危机之中。同时,随着社会生产力的发展,阶级关系也发生了重大变化。这一切促使宋代在强调礼治思想的同时,大力加强法治思想。并最终促成了宋代礼法思想的合流。

The Song dynasty had totally fallen into the serious crisis in ethics and moral belief in the whole society when it came into being. Meanwhile, with the development of society's productive forces, great change had taken place in the social class,too. All these forced the governors at that time to strengthen the thought of law effectively while emphasizing the thought in ratualism in Song Dynasty, which formed the combination of both finally.
