A modern pulping &paper industry needs to integrate both ad-vanced managerial and automatic technologies efficiently to adapt itse lf to worldwide competition and to preserve a healthy environment.This paper analyses the features of the pulping&paper industry and its requirement for CIPS in detail,then presents the int egrated architecture of CIPS used in the pulping &paper industry and also dis cusses its key technologies.
