摘要
以WC为电极 ,采用不同的电火花强化工艺 ,在钛合金表面制备了强化涂层。为了比较不同工艺条件下获得涂层的组织结构 ,确定最佳的电火花沉积工艺 ,通过金相、SEM、EDS等试验方法对涂层的微观组织结构进行了研究。结果表明 ,仅改变电火花沉积参数对获得性能优良的沉积涂层效果不明显 ,当复合超声加工 ,并且达到一定频率范围时 ,可以明显改善涂层质量。所获涂层是由基体中Ti元素与WC电极发生反应生成的反应涂层 ,涂层的主要成分是TiC、W和W2 C。
Strengthened coating on titanium substrate was deposited by different electrospark process using WC electrode. In order to optimize the electrospark deposition (ESD) process, the microstructure of the coating was analyzed with optical microscope, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersion spectrum (EDS). It was found that the quality of the coating couldn't be enhanced with just changing the parameters of ESD. However, the high quality coating was obtained on the titanium substrate when the applied ultrasonic frequency reaching to a certain value. The coating consisting of TiC, W and W2C was formed through the reaction between titanium in the substrate and WC from the electrode.
