阐述了中外书籍及我国期刊装帧形式的演变和发展,论述了书刊装帧材料、制作工艺,以及艺术观念和形式美法则对书刊装帧艺术的制约和影响,并指出了当前书刊装帧总的倾向是强调视觉冲击,追求整体设计效果.

The evolution and development of China's journal binding and oversea-published books are highlighted. The restrictions and influences of binding materials, binding process and artistic ideology as well as rules for layout beauty on the art of binding are expounded. It is proposed that the present trend is toward more emphasis on visual shock, aiming at overall designing effects.
