“先趋而后息”“人趋己趋”中的“趋”字释义献疑

A Question on the Explanation of the Character "Qu" in "Xian Qu Er Hou Xi" and "Ren Qu Ji Qu

针对郭锡良、李铃璞主编《古代汉语》,洪成玉主编《古代汉语》。徐季子主编《中国古代文学》对“先趋而后息”“人趋己趋”中的“趋”的解释不妥之处,本文从上下文的照应、古文献的其它用例、词义引申的线索等几个方面证明“趋”应释为“以恭敬的姿势快步走”。

To counter the inappropriate explanation in 'Ancient Chinese' by Guo Xi-liang and Li Ling -pu, 'Ancient Chinese' by Hong Cheng -yu and 'Ancient Chinese Literature' by Xu Ji -zi of the character 'qu' in 'xian qu er hou xi' and 'ren qu ji qu', this article proves from the coordination of the context, some other examples from ancient documents and clues of extended meaning of the character that 'qu' should be explained as 'trot in respective posture'.
